I'm planning a great lock-in for this summer! The theme will be "Forensic Fun", in keeping with the "You Never Know" summer reading theme. We'll have a corpse cake, doughnut hole eyeballs, and other equally gross and disgusting refreshments! I'm looking into having a police officer come in and talk to us about forensics, and we'll try to have a couple of cool contests! Keep checking out the newsletters for further information as the date gets closer! If you have any great ideas, just stop by the Youth Librarian's office!

Pick up an entry form at the desk, entitled "Why I Love My Library"-Turn in one paragraph on this theme by 4:00 p.m, Saturday, April 21-Entries will be judged for originality, and 3 winners will be chosen in the following age groups, 5-8, 9-12, and 13-18-Winners will be announced onMonday, April 23 at 4:00 p.m.-Each winner will receive a bag of library goodies and a $ 5.00 McDonald's coupon!
