Read a great book? Read an awful book? Then let others know! Pick up a You Never Know teen book review form in the Youth Librarian's office and fill it out. These will be posted, and a You Never Know bookmark placed in the book, to let others know the books they should read or stay away from and why. Thanks!

You Said

You said you'd always be there.
You said you'd always care.
You said you'd always be there to wipe away my tears.
You said we'd always be friends no matter what.

You said you'd loved me but had enough.
You said good-bye then walked away.
You said no matter what you'll always be with me.
But for the first time in a long time I can't see you.

You said you'd call when things got better for you,
but from what I saw last week says a lot.
You said, "Hello. How are you?"
I said, "Hello. Good. You?"

You said you'd always love me.
Is that still true?
I hope so, 'cause I still love you.

Summer Reading Sign-up begins June 4

Make sure to sign-up for the Summer Reading Program beginning on June 4. The theme for young adults is You Never Know at the Buchanan District Library. Read 6 books between June 19-July 30 and you'll not only win a free book and other small gifts, your name will be put into a drawing for some really great prizes! Also, for each book you read, grades 7-12 can put in an entry to win a free book! One winner will be chosen each week. The top reader in each age group will win a special prize.
